Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of qrli.app (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

The Service

qrli.app lets you generate QR codes and shorten URLs. Static QR codes are created entirely in your browser, require no account, and never expire — we don't host or control them once generated. The free URL shortener (qrli.app/s/<code>) creates a permanent, anonymous short link with no account needed. Creating an account unlocks additional features: link-in-bio pages, file QR codes, Event Hub pages (photo sharing and RSVPs for events), and — with Qrli Pro — dynamic QR codes with scan analytics, and editable short links whose destination you can change anytime.

Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You can delete your account and its data at any time from your dashboard settings.

Qrli Pro & Billing

Qrli Pro is a paid subscription unlocking dynamic QR codes, scan analytics, and other Pro features. Billing is processed by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor and Merchant of Record — your payment details are handled entirely by them, subject to their own terms and privacy policy. You can cancel your subscription at any time; access to Pro features continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds, where applicable, are handled per Lemon Squeezy's standard policies — contact support@qrli.app if you need help with a billing issue.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate QR codes, link pages, or Event Hub content that is illegal, fraudulent, phishing, malware, or infringes on someone else's rights
  • Harass, threaten, or upload content depicting or endangering minors
  • Spam, scrape, or abuse the Service's infrastructure (including attempting to bypass rate limits or free-tier restrictions)
  • Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with one

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Event Hub & Guest Content

If you create an Event Hub, guests you invite can upload photos and RSVP without an account of their own. As the host, you're responsible for moderating your event and for the content your guests upload — we provide the tools to delete individual photos or the whole event, but don't pre-screen uploads. Uploaded photos are automatically deleted after the retention window shown on your event page. You confirm you have the right to invite guests to upload content to your event.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you or your guests submit (QR destinations, link page content, event photos). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you. We don't claim ownership of it and don't use it for any purpose beyond running the Service.

Service Availability

We work to keep qrli.app available and reliable, but the Service is provided "as is" without guaranteed uptime. Static QR codes you've already generated and downloaded will keep working regardless of qrli.app's availability, since they encode your data directly. Dynamic QR codes, link pages, and Event Hub pages depend on the Service being online to resolve.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, qrli.app and its operators aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of qrli.app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
